Exploring Apokoronas on foot is a must for anybody who visits this part of the world. Ideal for those who just love a good walk, our unique nature walks guarantee you exactly that. Under the guidance of a multilingual, photo award-winning guide, you are guaranteed to have one of the most memorable days of your holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All our nature walks take place within the Apokoronas area, allowing for a leisurely day out. We leave Georgioupolis at 8:30 am and depending on the time of the year we head for a different, but always close-by location. Our group day starts with a morning coffee, getting to know each other, and then start our walk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each walk is on average 6.5 km, allowing for a leisurely stroll through the fabulous nature of Apokoronas. During this walk, many flowers, trees, and animals will be pointed out to you, and you will learn some fascinating aspects of their lives. Your guide is also an award-winning photographer who is happy to show you a few “tricks of the trade” during these excursions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After our walk, we go to a local taverna for a light meal and return to Georgiouplois around 17.30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our Nature walks are not strenuous, professional hikes, but they do require a certain amount of fitness and agility. Participant numbers are limited to 19, and those taking part are requested to wear sturdy, closed shoes, appropriate clothing, including a hat, and to bring sufficient water (at least 500ml) with them. A small carrier bag to collect waste you might generate from wrappers, water bottles, toilet paper, etc is also advisable to facilitate proper disposal upon your return to your lodgings.
